Detroit, MI – June 7, 2024 – Park Rite Parking is honored to announce its selection as the preferred partner for the Michigan Central Station Grand Opening VIP gala event, “Embark,” held on Thursday night, June 6, 2024.
The gala, funded by Lisa and Bill Ford’s endowment campaign in partnership with the Children’s Foundation, marks a significant milestone in the revitalization of Detroit’s iconic Michigan Central Station.
Park Rite provided comprehensive valet and transportation services for the event, including shuttles (coordinated with Lavdas Limousines) and special rideshare programs, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.

Ford has transformed the once-abandoned Michigan Central Station into a dynamic space. The station, which closed its doors in 1988 and was acquired by Ford in 2018, is now set to serve as a unique hub for technology and culture, further fueling Detroit’s growth and innovation.
